Yvonne de Bruin is the brainchild of a successful business called De Bruin’s Caterers which started off in 1972. Her tasty “boerekos” soon became legendary and before long she catered for the majority of functions for East Rand municipalities, schools and even at private homes.

Yvonne also started Summer Place Restaurant in 1992, she and her family run the business with the help of dedicated staff that have been with them for many years.
